The Job Developer Institute

October 28 – 29, 2009

 

First Work will host the Job Developer Institute, a two day professional development opportunity that provides a hybrid-delivery of college-level curriculum, designed to enhance the skills of both the novice and seasoned job developers. Nine hours of face-to-face training will be offered at the Road Show; followed by 36 hours of on-line work to complete the course.


Some of the topics covered include:

  • skill requirements for successful job development
  • how to work with diverse client group
  • developing strong employer relationships
  • selling and marketing techniques
  • improving placement retention strategies

COST

The one day Ontario Road Show fee is $150 + GST

The two day Job Developer Institute is $250 + GST

The three day Ontario Road Show and Job Developer Institute is $400 + GST
